Connect your assistant
Ask Claude about your days. It reads your count and trips, answers with your own dates, and adds a trip when you tell it to.
- “If I go to Lisbon for three weeks in March, when can I apply?”
- “Add my trip to Boston, 9 to 14 March.”
- “Does my PR card still hold if we spend next summer in Brazil?”
Part of the application pack: CA$19 once, for the whole household.
Your assistant. Asking Claude about your count and trips, and having it add a trip, is part of the pack. Without it the steps below still connect, and your assistant tells you what the pack adds when you ask.
The address
Your assistant connects to this address, exactly as written, with no slash at the end:
https://canada-days.com/mcp
In Claude (claude.ai or the desktop app)
- Open Settings, then Connectors.
- Choose Add custom connector. Name it Canada Days and paste the address. Leave the advanced settings empty.
- Choose Add, then Connect. Sign in to Canada Days, read what Claude asks for, and choose Allow.
- In a chat, turn Canada Days on from the tools menu, and ask.
In Claude Code
Run this in a terminal, then /mcp in Claude Code to sign in and allow it:
claude mcp add --transport http canada-days https://canada-days.com/mcp
What it asks for
Before anything connects, Canada Days shows you what the assistant wants — your name and email, your household’s people, trips and counts, your reminders and language — and where the answer goes. It acts as you, only in households you’re in. Claude asks you before each change, unless you allow it always.
Disconnecting
Any time, from your account, under Assistants you connected: Disconnect. It stops at once. Changing your password disconnects every assistant.
