The application pack
Everyone in your household counted together, the checks before you apply, and an email before the dates that matter. Your own count and your trip list stay free.
CA$19
Once, for the whole household. Not a subscription. Tax is added at checkout.
Not what you needed? Email hello@canada-days.com within 30 days of buying it and we’ll refund it in full.
Your household
Everyone counted in one place. Your partner signs in with their own account and keeps their own dates and trips; children and parents are a name and their dates. A trip you took together is entered once.
The checks
Each person’s dates, checked for what can get an application returned: a planned trip that’s over but still marked planned; a signing day short of the 1,095, or with fewer than 30 days to spare, and the first day that would have them; a stay abroad of 183 days or more in a row, which means a police certificate. Last, always: count again on the day you sign.
Reminders
An email as your date gets close, one well before a PR card expires, and one when a planned trip would leave the 730 short.
The trip list, laid out for the forms
Each person’s trips as IRCC’s physical presence calculator takes them, and for the PR card form (IMM 5444) over that form’s own five years, to type from field by field. The trip list itself stays free.
What it adds, on an example
For an example person, Ana, not you.
Before Ana applies
- Porto, Portugal (5 – 21 Jul 2025) is still marked planned, and it’s over. Mark it taken, or change its dates, so the list is what happened.
- Signing on 27 July 2027, by this count, Ana would have 1,095 days, with none to spare. IRCC encourages applying with more than 1,095: a trip left out or a date misremembered takes them away. From 26 August 2027, by this count, staying in Canada, Ana would have 1,125.
- Count again on the day you sign. The date in IRCC’s calculator, the date on its printout and the date you sign the application must be the same day, or the application can be returned.
